Volunteer: Food Service Volunteer | 8 - 10 AM

Volunteer Waiver

We are seeking individuals and volunteer pairs to assist our culinary team at the Malone kitchen! Volunteers provide our team with daily support, helping them prepare food distributions. 

Where to Check-In?

Please arrive on time and enter through the center entrance of the Vernon Malone Center. You will be greeted by a staff member at the front desk and brought to the kitchen when it is time. 

Dress Code

You must wear CLOSED-TOE/HEEL SHOES and a hair covering (i.e., hat, hairnet, etc.) to enter the kitchen. Tank tops are discouraged for food safety. 

Tasks

No kitchen experience is required to volunteer! Our staff will walk volunteers through each of their tasks. Volunteers may be assigned to help with a range of food prepping tasks, including bagging bread, portioning meals, and cutting produce.
