Join us on October 11th for the Food Shuttle's annual Festival at the Farm! We are excited to host this celebration once again and need volunteers to help us make this event a success. We are looking for volunteers to assist us in the following areas before the event:
- Setting up tables and chairs
- General decorating
Please meet and park at the Food Shuttle Farm: 2300 Dover Farm Road, Raleigh, NC 27606
- Parking: Please park along the tree line where you will see staff/volunteer vehicles. Please ONLY PARK at the tree line unless directed elsewhere by a staff member.
- Checking In: When you exit your vehicle take a short walk on the gravel road past the greenhouse until you reach the multi-purpose farm building on your left. A staff member will be there to greet you at this location.
VOLUNTEERING CONDITIONS
- For this shift, we require volunteers to wear closed toe/heel shoes, and a light rain jacket is encouraged.
- Please do not forget to bring a water bottle.
- Allergies: Please bring any allergy medications (i.e., bees, plants, etc.). There are active bee colonies on the property’s periphery, and we ask volunteers to bring any appropriate allergy medications.
- Weather: The shift will continue on with light rain.
