The Food Shuttle is seeking volunteer drivers to deliver our summer meals to partner sites that participate in summer feeding programs. The volunteer driver will drive a Food Shuttle vehicle or may have the option to ride with a staff member depending on vehicle availability. Since, volunteers will deliver to child program sites, background check will be required. Please expect at least a 48-hour window for the turn around on this background check.
- Volunteers will have to go through a brief food safety training and an orientation on the program prior to volunteering.
- We ask our volunteers for this opportunity to make a commitment of at least 3 times to deliver.
- Volunteers must be at least 21 years old.
