Want to help for the holidays? Are you interested in helping collect food drives in time for the holidays? Sign-up for a shift and spend a few hours going to local organizations in the area and help spread the holiday cheer to those in need!
Volunteers need to have a vehicle that can fit food donations and be able to pass a background check, and be 18 years and older for driving purposes.
Pickups may be at various locations within Wake County (Garner, Apex, Brier Creek, and North Raleigh)
Time: Expect to spend roughly 2-3 hours helping to collect food donations on this date. If you know that you are not able to volunteer for this time length, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN-UP.
Tasks: Expect to help with medium to heavy lifting loading/unloading food donations, recording food weight, and categorize food per program.
Youth: Volunteers aged 13-18 may volunteer, but must be accompanied by an adult.
