Volunteer Position:
We're seeking individual volunteers to help inspect and prepare eggs for food distribution at the Vernon Malone Center (Food Shuttle main location) in Raleigh, NC. Volunteers will be trained on how to properly use a egg candler light to detect infractions and inspect quality of eggs.

*If accompanied by an additional person (must be related), please contact us prior to your scheduled dates for approval. In addition, please make sure your phone number is listed on your volunteer account and the additional person has a volunteer account. We are happy to have you volunteer with a family member or friend, please contact marc@foodshuttle.org in advance if you would like to have another person volunteer with you.

Qualifications:
- Must be 12+ years old. Under 16 must be accompanied by an over 18 year old adult. Note: If you are related, you can register together (must be 2 people max). Contact Volunteer Services via email at marc@foodshuttle.org or call (919) 390-1968 for approval.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
- Must wear closed-toe/heel shoes - no high heels.
