We're looking for volunteers to help provide hunger assistance at First Baptist Church on Wilmington St. (Downtown Raleigh). This activity will take place during a mass COVID vaccination distribution site. We need help with the following tasks:
Setup:
- Set up 2-3 tents
- Set up 2-3 tables
- Help driver/staff breakdown pallets
Distribution:
- Pallets will be located behind table
- Collect demographics
- Boxes placed on table when clients approach
Cleanup:
- Breakdown tents/tables
- Trash pickup (shrink wrap mainly) and empty pallets
Minimum age requirement: 12 and up (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
