Sign up to volunteer for Food Smarts for adults classes at Moorehead School for the Blind in Raleigh! This will be a 4-week course from February 23rd to March 17th on Thursdays. You must commit to attend all 4 classes if you sign up. We will be working with vision impaired adults.
The lessons will each contain a brief nutrition lesson, some kind of activity and then a cooking activity for everyone to help out with.
- Class will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, please arrive at 5:30 PM to setup and get to know the team.
- There are 3 slots open for this class. One for the nutrition instructor, and two spots for classroom assistants.
Please specify which role you would like to sign up for in the notes section when you register. Please note you will receive an email before the class with updates and weekly volunteer emails.
