Join us at the Vernon Malone Center (Food Shuttle Main Office) to help pack groceries for seniors in Wake county. Volunteers will form an assemble line to pack fresh produce and non-perishable food into grocery bags.* Volunteer capacity set to 4 volunteers per shift.
Volunteer Instructions

To ensure accurate volunteer capacity and to provide proper social distancing among volunteers, all volunteers must be registered prior to volunteer date (s). *If accompanied by an additional person, please contact us prior to your scheduled volunteer dates for approval. In addition, please make sure your phone number is listed on volunteer account.

All volunteers must be 8 and older (under 16 must be accompanied by an over 18 adult).
- all volunteers are required to partake in a temperature check by Food Shuttle Staff. In addition, all volunteers must sanitize their hands before putting on gloves and face masks.
Qualifications:
- Must be 8+ (under 16 must be accompanied by an over 18+ adult).
- Must wear closed-toe shoes. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothes and bring layers.
- Must review and sigh Food Shuttle safety protocol and waiver.
