Volunteer with Gardens For Everyone as we build 6 boxes and a fence at the Helen Wright Center-Urban Ministries of Wake in Raleigh! The Helen Wright Center is an emergency shelter for single, adult women experiencing homelessness without children in their custody, https://urbanmin.org/services/shelter/. They are receiving 6 raised-bed garden boxes in a fenced-in area. This will be a 2-day build with the opportunity to volunteer for multiple shifts. There will be plenty of parking.
Morning Shift: build 2 boxes, fill 2 boxes, build 10' fence
Afternoon Shift: finish boxes and fencing

Dates: April 7th and 8th.
