Thank you for showing interest in Grocery Bags for Seniors. We are looking for individuals or small groups (4) volunteers to come pack and deliver groceries to seniors in Wake County. Packing will be held at Vernon Malone Center – 1001 Blair Drive. Raleigh, NC 27603.
Volunteers will form an assembly line to pack fresh produce and non-perishable food items into grocery bags. After packing, volunteers will be given a route sheet to deliver bags to a designated site (s) using their own personal vehicle. Deliveries must be “NO CONTACT” door to door distribution. - Packing for Seniors in Rocky Mount (100 Bags for Rocky Mount and 31 for additional site)
Volunteers must be 8 and older (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult). In addition, 1:4 ratio for multiple youth volunteers.
