Demand for garden space is higher than it has ever been before, and we can really use your help building raised beds! Building a raised bed is hard work, but with your help we can bring the joy of gardening to someone's home. If you are willing to work hard and get a little dirty along the way do not worry if you aren't an expert in building, you learn most everything you need to know by working with staff and experienced volunteers. Bring your own gloves if you have them and a water bottle to stay hydrated! Volunteers should be comfortable using the tools and lumber needed to make a raised garden bed, as well as must have transportation to meet staff at a recipient’s home.
