Grocery Bags for Seniors Policies and Procedures
Tasks
Volunteers will form an assembly line to pack fresh produce and non-perishable food items into grocery bags. After packing, volunteers will be given a route sheet to deliver bags to a designated site(s) using their own personal vehicle. View volunteer instructions – click here.
Packing Address: 1001 Blair Drive, Raleigh 27603.
Delivery Address: Volunteers will pack and deliver groceries to seniors in Wake County. Specific site locations will be provided at the volunteer shift.

- 27604 - 40 bags
Dress Code
- You must wear CLOSED TOE/HEEL SHOES.
- NO clothing with lewd, indecent, or vulgar messages or illustrations.
- NO clothing that promotes gang or gang-related activities.
- NO clothing that advertises illegal products or activities.
Youth Policy
All volunteers must be 8 years old to volunteer. Minors 16 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. If volunteering as a group, we ask for a 1:4 adult to youth ratio and all chaperones must sign up and work alongside their youth volunteers.
